Ancient Egyptian have many relatives

By surfing YouTube, I found out there were many
discussions about which race the Ancient Egyptian
belonged to. African American said they were
African, Caucasian American said they were European.
Interestingly the Chinese said they were Chinese as
the Ancient Egyptian resembled Chinese most.
Had Ancient Egypt had poor culture, would anybody
eager to associate them with?
The Chinese had an old saying: "Many claim to be
the relative of a rich person living in remote mountain,
no body mentions his poor relative living in downtown."
By the way, I think the Ancient Egyptian were melting
pot, just like all the great civilization in human history.
